| 10 reasons why I should quit my current project: - I wake up at 4am every Monday morning to catch my 6:30am flight
- I go into the office at 3am on Fridays to have conference calls with the tech people in India
- I normally have to sit in the Boston airport for an extra 2 hours on Thursdays because of the delays
- my lotions always get thrown away by the securities in the airport because they are over 3oz and i forget to put them in a zipper bag
- I have to eat a large pie of pizza everynight because:
- it's the only nearby place that does free deliver;
- they've got over 50 flavors and my goal is to try them all;
- as a Marriot member, i get 10% discount when order a large pie
- Most people in my team are getting married this year or soon, "wedding" happens to be the 'hot' topic for discussion during lunch everyday
- I won the eating contest (38oz steak) against my 270-pounds manager, and he hates me now!
- my project manager never takes us out to dinner
- I have to practice my bs'ing skills constantly to deal with the client but I still suck at it
- Last but not least, my client counterpart is gay & loves to bake; he gets kinda emotional if I don't finish eating the cookies he brings me every single day!

| after we had dinner at this thai place, my coworker and i went to stop & shop to get some dessert. the breyers ice-cream was on sale, you could probably imagine how excited i was when i saw that big SALE sign next to all the ice-cream. i stood there forever deciding which flavor i should get, finally i narrowed my options down to those two: 'double churned chocolate caramel brownie' and 'vanilla mint chocolate', but with no surprise, i ended up getting both of them as usual and i was HAPPY!
got back to the hotel, walked into my room and realized there isn't a fridge. my immediate reaction was i gotta quickly eat my ice cream before they start to melt. honestly it was a little difficult towards the end trying to finish those two 1.75-quarts ice cream. after the 2- hr ice cream marathon, my coworker came by to get the documents from me, and she was shocked to see the two empty ice cream boxes, "why didn't you ask the front desk to store them for you?!?!" "oh i didn't even think about that, all i could think of was that i could not let my ice cream melt..." why am i always so slow? |
